The Society conducts peace-related activities (businesses) and supports those who intend to carry out peace-related activities. This year, (1) public relations activities related to Peace Festival to protect human rights and promote peace, and (2) town development and shopping districts in Hidaka City and surrounding areas to promote town development and social education. Making videos related to revitalization and performing paper plays, etc. (3) Making videos related to environmental conservation, wildlife protection, etc. in Hidaka City and surrounding areas, and shooting and disclosing videos of the activities of the organizations that carry out the activities And so on.

Activities related to environmental conservation and wildlife conservation
Currently, the environment and wild animals are in danger on the earth, such as climate change due to global warming, deforestation of satoyama, overuse of pesticides, and water pollution of rivers.
At Oku Musashi Peace Lab, we will carry out activities to protect the natural environment around Hidaka City, which is rich in nature, and the ecosystem of animals and insects living in satoyama and satogawa, and to watch over the natural environment, as well as in the neighborhood. We will work hand in hand with the active environmental groups to carry out activities to hand over a rich and safe environment to children living on the earth in the future.

Welfare is a word that means "happiness" or "warmth", and welfare refers to the idea of providing minimum happiness and social assistance to all citizens. The Constitution of Japan aims to realize a welfare society for national and local organizations by law. At the same time, the idea of the Constitution aims to turn people's eyes toward vulnerable people and turn them into the power of assistance. War is the greatest violation of human rights, but keeping memories of war is an essential wisdom in a society where human dignity and human rights are respected. Oku Musashi Peace Lab is engaged in activities to cover the war experiences of Hidaka citizens and distribute the records to civil society via the Internet.

In an era when society coexisted with nature and was centered on primary industries such as agriculture, fishing, and livestock farming, children lived with their parents and a local culture was established in which both parents and children were united. When the Industrial Revolution broke out and the era of mass production began, adults were away from home and worked in the outside world, and the culture of parents and children was abolished. On the other hand, children's culture was incorporated into the social system of education, and after the outbreak of the war, it was involved in the war.
It is our adult responsibility to protect a peaceful society after World War II. A culture of peace is necessary to raise children in good health. The picture-story show society contributes to the creation of a peaceful culture through picture-story shows.

Support for holding the Peace Festival and activities to disseminate information
In Hidaka City, a citizen peace festival is held in the spirit of the "Hidaka City Peace City Declaration" and many citizens participate. Through the participation of citizens, the spirit of the Peace City Declaration is gradually spreading among the citizens. The contents of the Civil Peace Festival are also enriched. Since the event, there have been exhibitions of creative works such as calligraphy, sculptures, photographs, flower arrangement, tanka, haiku and poetry, and exhibits of relics such as the Senninbari and the Nissho flag at the time of the expedition of my father and brother. Cultural events such as rakugo, lectures, movies, poetry readings, composition plays, singing, war stories, and picture-story shows are held. Oku Musashi Peace Lab participates in the Citizen's Peace Festival by supporting the holding of the Citizen's Peace Festival and disseminating information.
